SOPHIE EM was founded by Indonesian/American designer Sophie Eugenie Minges. She launched the business in June 2014 while living in Bali, Indonesia. 

The 100% handmade handbags feature a unique combination of leather and textile. The two flagship tote and clutch models are distinguished by their Balinese endek fabric and either plain or metallic leather. Each piece of fabric has different colors and designs making every bag one of a kind.
